The Great American Total Solar Eclipse 2017 – August 21st, 2017

On August 21st, 2017 millions of Americans will have the chance to view a Total Solar Eclipse from their backyards.

Below is a list of Confirmed locations you can view the Eclipse locally (updated 8-14-2017 )

If you are planning on staying In the Buffalo Area the BAA will have several viewing locations setup across WNY for your viewing enjoyment. These locations will be hosted by Club members who may have Solar Glasses available as well as telescopes with solar filters setup for viewing the Eclipse safely. Meeting Information

Meetings of the Buffalo Astronomical Association are held on the second Friday of each month from September through June (except for the March dinner meeting). Our meetings generally start at 7:30 pm unless the time is changed to accommodate a special event or speaker. For More Details Click here
