The Great American Total Solar Eclipse 2017 – August 21st, 2017
On August 21st, 2017 millions of Americans will have the chance to view a Total Solar Eclipse from their backyards.
Below is a list of Confirmed locations you can view the Eclipse locally (updated 8-14-2017 )
- The Buffalo Museum of Science
- SUNY/Buffalo State’s Ferguson Planetarium
- Central Branch of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library
- Calvin E. Krueger Park in Wilson, 350 Ontario Street ( route 18 ) Village of Wilson *member hosted
- Penn Dixie Fossil Park & Nature Preserve in Blasdell, NY
- Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium at Buffalo State College

If you are planning on staying In the Buffalo Area the BAA will have several viewing locations setup across WNY for your viewing enjoyment. These locations will be hosted by Club members who may have Solar Glasses available as well as telescopes with solar filters setup for viewing the Eclipse safely.
